2B Liverpool Art Inspired by Ian Fennelly

2B have had an excellent day creating paintings of Liverpool landmarks inspired by local artist Ian Fennelly.

We studied photographs of The Three Graces extremely carefully before choosing our favourite landmark. We started by tracing the shape of the building with out fingers before drawing the shape onto our paper. Then we used black pens and watercolour paints to decorate our buildings. We tried very hard to blend the paints with the right amount of water and to stay in the lines. After lunch, we added detail and windows to our drawings, trying to keep them as realistic as possible. Here are some photos of us creating our work and our finished products!

Well done 2B!
