Eco Council in the Community

On Wednesday, some of Topsite Eco Council enjoyed a brilliant morning session with local rangers in Harrison Park!

During the walk down, we took our brand new litter pickers and litter hoops to collect rubbish on our pavements.

When we arrived at Harrison Park, rangers explained the differences between the tree whips, and showed us the spray-painted dots which indicated where we were to dig.

By the end of the morning, we had planted 315 trees! This will eventually grow into an edible hedgerow!

Well done to our Eco Council, and a huge thank you to our parent volunteers who gave up their morning to help out!
