Year 6 - Judaism Workshop with Tamar

Year 6 were fortunate to have Tamar with us today! Tamar taught us all about her Jewish faith - it was fascinating to hear her vast knowledge and of her experiences of being a Jewish member of society. 

We discussed many things, such as: the Torah scrolls; challah bread; Shabbat; menorahs, synagogues; yads; mezuzahs; Rabbis; prayers; and kippahs. 

We had lots and lots of questions, and had every opportunity to show off our knowledge of what we'd already learned about the Jewish faith during our R.E lessons!
