Erasmus Partnerships

St George's has been working with international schools as part of a staff and curriculum development project since 2018.  These projects have involved schools from Malta, Italy and UK.

The projects that we have been involved with are:

• Read It Project to develop understanding of how we teach children to read and love reading from an early stage.
• Tell Us A Story project that is developing an understanding of the best way to develop oracy and language in children through story telling.

Whilst these projects have been centered on staff training and developing an understanding of how schools work internationally, they have also been of great benefit to our school through:

• Resources allocated to the projects have allowed us to invest in our English curriculum.
• Enriched our school with large numbers of visiting teachers taking an interest in children's learning and celebrating the work that we do at St George's.
