PE

PE at St George's Primary School allows for the children to:

Develop competence to excel in a broad range of physical activities

Engage in competitive sports and activities

Be physically active for sustained periods of time

Lead healthy, active lives

Extra Curricular Sports Clubs

At St George's, we provide a wide range of extra-curricular sports and fitness sessions for the children before and after school. This ranges from 5 a-side football clubs to breakfast and fitness clubs.

Representing the School

We are extremely proud of our children when they are given opportunities to represent the school in sporting competitions with other local schools and across the Wirral. We have a range of sporting teams and have had success with these teams. It is our aim for all children to participate in competitive sport across the school year. This could be in the form of competitions within school such as Sports Days or in interschool competitions.

PE Kit

ALL children are expected to wear PE kit in lessons.

We show the RESPECT characteristics within PE lessons and when representing the school
