Year 2 Liverpool Museum Trip.

Year 2 are studying the history of transport and as part of this topic year 2 will be visiting the museum in Liverpool.

Dates and times of the visit will be shared soon.

We will be walking to the train station, where we will travel to Liverpool. The children will spend time in the different exhibits in the museum. During our time in the museum we will be taking part in a workshop on the history of transport, studying toy timelines, sketching Liverpool buildings and hopefully the ‘Dazzle’ ferry. We will return to the Wirral by travelling back on the Ferry and finally a bus will bring us back to school. It will be an exciting and fun filled day!

The children should wear full school uniform for the trip, we would suggest leggings or trousers. They should also bring a coat for bad weather. If children could bring their own small backpack to fit their lunch and waterbottle in it would be helpful.

We will leave school promptly once the register has been taken and will be back by 3.30pm.

If you have not paid the £15 one off payment the cost of the trip will be £8.00. Packed lunches will be provided by school unless your child would prefer a packed lunch from home. If that is the case, please remember no sweets or nut products (including Nutella)
