Welcome to our Special Education and Disability web page. Contact the school if you have any questions relating to SEND provision.
If you want to know more about how your child is supported in school or think they need more support then your first point of contact is the class teacher. Call the office to request a time to meet the class teacher.
In the first instance we would recommend that you speak to your child's class teacher and then the Assistant Head Tecaher for their band.
If after these discussions we feel that yo would benefit from further advice or guidance we will refer you to our Special Educational Needs and Disability coordinator (SENDCO). Mrs Huxley can be contacted through a message at the school office or by e-mailing us in confidence at: email@example.com

Our Board of Governors meet regularly term to discuss the school development plan and review the long term plans for the school. The Board of Governors have the role of planning for the long term whilst holding the senior leaders of the school to account. They are referred to often as 'critical friends'.
One Governor is specially asked to oversee the Special Educational Needs provision for the school. That governor meets with the SENDCO termly and submits a brief report to governors as part of our school visit policy.
