Diwali

Class: Foundation 1 Year: 2016 - 17

We celebrated the Hindu festival of light known as Diwali. The children enjoyed listening to different types of Indian music and copying some of the different dance moves. They also created Mendi patterns on the paper hands, Rangoli patterns using the chunky chalks outside on the floor and made the special Indian sweets called baffi.
