Author Visit in Year 1 and 2

To celebrate World Book Day we have had an exciting visitor in school. Jacqueline Derbyshire and Beatri (a character from the book) came in to speak to us and read some of her book called 'The Roadside Fairies'. It was inspiring to hear about how she wrote the book during lockdown and is hoping to bring more books out soon. Our children had a great time listening to the story, asking questions and being sprinkled in magic fairy dust - we hope that all of their wishes come true!
