Catering

Our two kitchens are run by Jenny Price, Catering & Hospitality Manager and a team of qualified staff.  The school is supported by professional catering consultants who check our meals meet the national standards for nutritional value.

Children in Foundation 2, year 1 and Year 2 receive Universal Free School meals and do not need to pay for lunch. For years 3-6 we charge £2.50 for each school lunch and £1.50 for nursery children who stay with us all day. This is to cover kitchen and food costs and should be paid in advance on ParentPay (ParentPay Link ). We do not want debts to mount up, if you are having difficulties paying please contact the school office. If you believe you may be entitled to Free School Meals please visit the web page below:

The menu changes every day and runs on a three week rotation. To see this term's menu please click on the link below.

If you do provide a packed lunch for your child please remember we have a number of children with serious nut allergies.  We therefore ask parents to avoid sending in any nut based foods into the school to reduce the risk of serious allergic reactions.

If you have any questions about the catering provision at St George's Primary School please contact the Catering & Hospitality Manager via the school office.

There are some booklets of recipe ideas for anyone cooking on a budget. This can be found below.
