What Happens If Your Child Is Not In School
It is a school's legal duty to ensure that children have good attendance and that we also record any reasons for absence. Most families understand this and ensure that they communicate any reasons for absence. This can be done easily by:
- Sending us a message on our family Scholar Pack App.
- Send an e-mail to schooloffice@stgeorges.wirral.sch.uk.
- Phoning the school on 0151 638 6014 and leaving us a message using option 1.
- Calling in at the school office and leaving a message.
If we don't have a reason for your child's absence, it is our school's legal and safeguarding duty to establish this. The flow chart below explains the school's processes for doing this.
