Buddhist Visitor to year 4

The children in year 4 have been learning all about the Buddhist religion and exploring who the Buddha was and his importance, the four noble truths and what is meant by the term enlightenment. Today, the year 4 children were thrilled to be visited by the Buddhists from the Kailash Buddhist Centre. The children loved to hear about the daily life of a Buddhist and exploring pictures of Buddhist temples around the world. The children enjoyed a meditating session at the end.
