Former Professional Footballer Alex Hay Inspires Students with 2-in-2 Marathon Challenge

Before Easter, former professional footballer Alex Hay visited Years 3 and 4  to share his inspiring journey , passion for physical activity and explain how he plans to raise money to help others in our community. 

Alex is currently training in preparation to  complete a  remarkable 2-in-2 Marathon Challenge to raise funds for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, and he stopped by to motivate our students and involve them in this incredible initiative.

Alex's 2-in-2 Marathon Challenge involves completing two marathons in just two days, pushing himself to the limits both physically and mentally. This incredible feat aims to raise funds for a noble cause close to Alex's heart, demonstrating the power of determination and resilience in making a difference. 

Alex will return to school on Wednesday 17th April to work with children from Years 3 and 4. Children are going to take part in a ‘ Run with Alex’ event, which will be part of Alex’s final training session in preparation for this challenge.
