Materials investigation

In today's science lesson, the children of 5A came up with an investigation to test the best material for absorbing water. The children worked in groups to decide on their key questions, then they chose the variables they would change, looked at keeping it a fair test and how they would measure it. The children then chose the materials they wanted to test and carried out the investigation independently. 

I was so impressed with the childrens scientifc vocabulary and their investigation skills.
