Year 4 talk detectives ??

Year 4 have been working on their Oracy skills and challenging each other's thinking using some of our STEM sentences. They have taken on different roles within a debate and had to carefully verbalise their views using evidence from our new text, 'The Firework Makers Daughter.' We learnt how important our listening skills were so that we could respond to others effectively. 

Maybe you could  be talk detectives at home? 

Would you prefer to be a builder? ?

Maybe you like to respectfully challenge peoples ideas? ??

It's always good to be clarifyer to make things clearer for everyone. ?

A prober may even ask you to provide evidence for your idea. ??
