Topsite Wildflower Art Installation with Ling!

Some children from Topsite had a fantastic time yesterday with Ling Warlow from Paper By Dragonfly. 

Ling has been commissioned by Wirral Council to produce a travelling art installation in celebration of Wirral Country Park's 50th Anniversary this Summer. The piece will emulate a stunning wildflower garden, and will move to different locations over the coming months.

We learnt about the importance of wildflowers in this country, as well as seeing Ling's incredible creations! 

Ling showed us how to make beautiful cornflowers - it was her first go at making this type of flower with a school group, so our flowers will be extra easy to spot within the installation!
