Y2 Reading Ambassadors celebrating World Book Day

Year 2 had a special assembly today presented by author Gillian Seale. Gillian told us all about the books she had written, her work illustrating them and talked to us about being an author. After the event, the Reading Ambassadors had the opportunity to meet with Gillian and ask her lots of questions about her career, the books she has written, her inspiration and most importantly her favourite books. They also told her all about their roles as Reading Ambassadors and how they work hard to promote a love of reading in their classes. Storytime Ted got a special mention too. Gillian was very impressed with the wonderful, creative ideas of all of our St George's children.
