Year 3 Celebrate World Book Day!
Year 3 have had wonderful time today sharing their favourite books as part of World Book Day.
The children each brought in a prop so that their friends could guess their favourite book- some were even wrapped up to add to the surprise. Each class shared and discussed a wide range of fiction, non-fiction, biographies and poetry.
Throughout the day, each class were also fortunate enough to meet our visiting author, Gillian Seale. The children were able to ask lots of questions and were inspired by her writing and illustrations.
She has kindly left us some copies of her most recent book Post Pixie Missing in Action. Children can order them on Parent Pay for £5.
