Year 3 - Egyptologist visit

Year three have had an exciting day with a visit from Dr Cromwell, an Egyptologist who is a lecturer in Manchester. She shared lots of interesting information and facts with the children including: the gods/goddesses, Hieroglyphics and papyrus. Dr Cromwell was able to answer many questions the children had about Egypt and the Egyptian gods. She showed an image of the illustrated papyrus scroll which is 4 metres in length, displayed in the world museum in Liverpool. The museum has an Egyptian section that the children would no doubt love to visit if they get the oppportunity. Thank you very much Dr Cromwell for visiting us and sharing some interesting facts!
