Year 4 Art
Year 4 have loved exploring how artists use paper as a sculpting material. They have researched the work of Peter Callesen, Lauren Clay and Mia Pearlman, who all sculpt paper in different ways. They have also learnt various paper sculpting techniques such as fringing, pleating and curling. By the end of our unit of work, the pupils will be creating portraits sculpted with paper. They have started to explore how the techniques they have learnt may be used to create different facial features. Here are lots of photographs!
