Year 5/6 Tranmere Rovers Football Tournament

Despite a couple of injuries to our team, the Year 5/6 Girls Football Team took part in the finals week of the Tranmere Rovers U11 Cup last night. The standard of football was outstanding from all of the teams involved and our team were magnificent. They won one game and drew 2 to reach the final which was also played last night.

The girls competed excellently in the final but were narrowly defeated 1-0 so were crowned runners up of the Competition which is amazing. The team should be incredibly proud of their attitude, conduct and achievements and have represented our school to the highest level throughout both on the pitch and off it.
